Did you know there are more scriptures in the Bible about money than faith and prayer combined? Jesus knew money could not only cause stress and harm relationships, but it could also separate us from God. Luckily it doesn’t have to!
Your Moravian Ministries Foundation is excited to partner with a new faith-based money management series, Freed Up. Freed Up is a financial stewardship training program that offers resources to help anyone manage money in healthier ways. It’s for people in every financial situation, whether burdened by debt or wealthy, and it addresses all the components of financial stewardship: earning, saving, spending, debt, and giving.
MMFA Director of Stewardship Services, Laura Watson, shared:
“What makes Freed Up stand out? Two things. First, it’s grounded in biblical stewardship and teaches principals that are in line with what Moravians believe about our identities as God’s stewards. Second, it meets people where they are. Utilizing three distinct lanes, Freed Up offers custom content to make sure everyone receives the information they need. One lane is for those who have significant debt, the second is for those who are doing okay but not making headway the way they’d like, and the third is for those who have enough resources, but who don’t feel free financially.”
Ready to learn more? Before you read on, we have one more important piece of information to share: MMFA is able and ready to help you make Freed Up available to people in your community of faith at no cost. We have a limited number of codes for 2023, so act quickly! Freed Up is perfect for a small group of 10 individuals or 5 couples; our staff can lead, or we can train people from your congregation to lead. MMFA will also be offering a Zoom class beginning January 19.
