Union Cross Moravian Church Thrift Store (NC)This ministry provides affordable clothing and household goods to the local community and shares God’s word through mission activities supported by these sales. The $1,400 grant from the Moravian Clothing Field of Interest Fund will purchase an electrostatic chlorinator to disinfect donated items, along with a six-month supply of disinfectant. Macedonia Moravian Church (NC)The $1000 grant from the Moravian Housing & Shelter Field of Interest Fund will provide overnight shelter and meals for homeless families until they move back into their own homes. This ministry of Macedonia Moravian Church to host families on their premises on a quarterly basis is in partnership with Family Promise of Davie County. Grace Moravian Church (NY)The $1,000 grant from the Moravian Housing & Shelter Field of Interest Fund will assist members and non-members who are struggling financially with housing due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
